How about a "Cultural Icons" series of US Quarters?

    OLD Thread resurrection.

    Imagine the image of, say a Bill Crosby of who many would remember as a cultural icon, but then became remembered as a criminal. Maybe one needs to be dead for qualification.

    Bing Crosby would be ok.

    The idea pool is getting pretty shallow.

    Isn't there a law they have to be dead to be on a US coin?

    Not sure iconic cultural personalities would be portrayed and captured well enough to work out as anticipated.
