Since my attempts to sell (heck just get offers) on my lovely Morgans continues to be a miserable failure I might as well enjoy it a bit.

A nice coin. Deserves grade it gets.

The pictures overstate the spots on face. This coin is a MS 66

Is it that you are not getting offers, or that you do not like the offers you are getting? My experience has been that the only thing keeping nice coins from selling is the price. The market is very slow right now, and paying strong for material is reserved for only the most desirable material. Please send me a list of your coins and what you are hoping to get for them.

It's a tough market, short on cash. 5 or 6.

The two obverse pictures are not the same coin. Not only are the marks different, but so are the bar codes.

Definitely not the same holder in the two pics, what's with that?

Seems to me that part of you problem with having trouble even getting offers let alone selling is because you don't put a price on the item when you list it for sale. You just say "taking offers", and that will never get much attention because the potential buyer does not know if you have a realistic idea of what you actually want for the item. Even dealers that do not put prices on their items will tell you what they want for something when you ask about it. You can then counter the offer to see if the dealer would accept your price. You are not even giving someone a starting point on some of the items you are posting for sale. Pics may also help too. Not saying you don't do either of these, but you have been inconsistent about doing it. Then the question is what is the true market for what you are selling, maybe the prices that you have posted are off the mark. Also refer back to the @AMRC post in this thread, there is insight there also.

edited to add: I am just respectfully trying to help here, hope you can appreciate a few words from the other side of the fence.

  • I've got the flu and I idiotically posted the 80-cc 8/7 Rev of 78 that is for sale on BST.
