Coin pricing question

I would be interested in comments from the seasoned grey beards that can comment on what Type One branch mint gold coins PCGS graded trade for over NGC graded pieces same grade. I know that PCGS is somewhat tougher on grading these coins would like to find out what other collectors have experienced. Also if a coins has been graded AU 53 by PCGS what would you expect NGC to grade it. I base the above on auction results and the number of higher grade pieces of each date NGC has slabbed as opposed to PCGS. I have decided to keep my collection PCGS as much as possible and the grade of each coin in the same grade range (AU). I won't buy a coin that won't cross over as I don't want any split grades. If the dealer won't get it into a PCGS holder I pass. I pass on any coin I don't like no matter who grades it as I collect coins not holders. I try to keep everything as consistent as possible and so far have not regretted the effort. Comments would be appreciated.
