I watched an old (1946) movie "The Strange Love of Martha Ivers" on TV today because I read that there was a coin in it.
Van Heflin is in a garage rolling a coin between his fingers, he then looks up at the wall and sees a a political poster with Kirk Douglas on it.
This film was Douglas' first film, and boy was he young.
Couldn't tell what kind of coin or token Heflin was using.
