Liberty Double Eagle - Genuine?

Hi folks,

This double eagle looks okay to me but I figured I'd run it by the forum to make certain it is genuine. Thoughts on grade would also be appreciated. Thanks for your time.

    Looks good to me, gradewise, I'd say62+/3 netted to 61/62 for a lot of rim taps.

    Looks good to me. Looks like a 63 to me.

    Around 62+, it looks a lot like others I've seen.

    No problem calling it real but "best" it would grade is 62
    It does have very nice color and would make a nice type coin if only modestly priced.

    Looks real, thinking about 62 grade.

    It's a stone cold genuine MS62. And it has very real shot of going MS63 since the obverse fields and marks are essentially clean enough for a 63 grade. The reverse is 62ish. Agree that the rim cuts could factor in. Still a nice and presentable example. Would be acceptable either as a 62 or 63. And if I owned it and it came back 62...I'd be a bit disappointed.

    It looks good to me and a low MS grade.
    You have to be careful with raw gold.

    Authentic and appears 63.... of course, I like gold :) , so probably 62..... let us know when you get results. Cheers, RickO

    A genuine MS61. I just don't see a 63 in this coin.
