I originally posted this in 2003. I feel it's as appropriate today as it was then. For those of you who have been around, you’ll recall the names. For the rest, you are less fortunate for not having known those who have passed away. I left it just as I wrote it to preserve their memories. With that, I wish everyone here a Happy Holiday season and a Happy and Healthy New Year. Enjoy.

T’ was the night before Christmas and Clank was awake…
Eagerly anticipating his holiday take.
What treasure awaited he hadn't a clue…
Just as long as it's old, and not something new.
His classic commems, all laid out in order…
To some he'd have looked like a silver coin hoarder.
"I need a Hawaiian, a Stoney, a York"…
Then who should appear but ole Karl the Dork.
"Quit messing with that stuff", Karl said with a sneer…
"It's DARKSIDE you want and I have some right here!"
Clank gazed at the coins, his head hung in shame…
"I KNOW WHAT I WANT!", and he SHOUTED by name!
"A Cali, a Cinci, a Gettysburg, SWEET! A Pan-Pac, a Bay Bridge, they'd ALL be so NEAT!"
"BE GONE with your darkside you insufferable slouch!"
As he said this he slid deeper into the couch.
Then in came li'l Cammie, his eyes wide as saucers…
"I've got somethin' here that'll help cut your losses!"
"They're called sample slabs and they're hot as a rocket!"
"Are you joking?", asked Clank, as he reached in his pocket.
When he pulled his hand out Cammie just about hurled…
A gold sample slab, the only one in the world!
Cammie picked up his measley dime sample stuff…
And he moped out the door in a snit and a huff.
Then Russ dropped on by, "I've got just what you need"…
"You need a slab-caddy, I've got one in tweed!"
"I don't need slab-caddies, and samples and such"…
"But there's one thing I'd like, yes I'd like it so much"…
"I'd like peace on Earth, in my home, and this site"…
"To be able to post and not fend off a fight".
"Christmas is nigh, peace is not to be near"
"A hostile Christmas is what I most fear"
"You can have all your coins, every trinket and bauble"…
"They just don't mean squat when the world's full of trouble"
"Let's think of our poor and less fortunate brothers"…
"Those who've lost loved ones, their sisters, their mothers"…
Let's toast to the season, let's all raise our glasses!
Let's all pray for peace, for all of the masses!
And let's not forget all our armed forces,
And all of their families who've suffered great losses.
To the forums I wish you all well and good cheer,
And may all of your loved ones be comfortably near.
