I saw these for a first time about 2 years ago. I found this one posted for sale and bought it today. An opinions would be great as
I rarely dabble in US coinage.

Nice pickup and a great piece of history!

Very nice old coin.... I have heard inquiries for Hawaiian coins at antique shows and rummage sales.... seems there is a very dedicated section of collectors for these coins. Cheers, RickO
These are always very popular and the quarters might be the best deal in the bunch.

Look off to me. Get it graded. Date and dentils to right of date look suspect. I do not know if these are faked but this series I would suspect. I'm probably all wet. Hope so.

I think it's good. It's just worn and not financially worth getting certified.

Nice coin. I feel that attractive and original EF to AU examples of this series are a great value.
Nice pick up. Definitely legit.
When I was a kid in the 60s, these things were all over the place in all denominations. We used to pick them up in change. Times certainly have changed.
Cheers

Looks fine, about XF. Always a keeper in my book.

I think it is a very nice example. Designed by Charles E. Barber and struck at the San Francisco mint.
