My first GTG and Trueviews

Does the expiration date of your CU membership ever sneak up on you (even though it takes 365 days) and you realize that you still have a certificate you haven't used yet? Well, that happened to me, so with 1 day to go, I threw a few coins I had into a box and sent them off. Total time from shipping to grades being posted was less than 30 days.
Although the coins I sent in were no great shakes, I wanted to have a few coins Trueviewed. This Buffalo was one.
When I purchased the coin, I was struck by the different color of toning on the obverse and reverse. The obverse is bluish while the reverse is red. I think it will fall within the category of "like it or eh, not so much."

If it helps at all, my first reaction when I opened the thread was "wow, that's really pretty".
In honor of the memory of Cpl. Michael E. Thompson
I love it, if you are meh on it I'd happily trade you my toned 36-d buff in a rattler 65 holder.

a few neat coins in your order.

I bought it raw because I really liked the color. It has an interesting die chip in the mint mark that kinda looked like an rpm...but it's not.

Very attractive nickel. I agree with the MS65 assessment.
That is certainly a unique combination of tarnished surfaces..... surprised me when I opened the thread. Cheers, RickO
