Here's a new 1927-S FS-101, Doubled Die obverse, Cherrypick of mine that you will have a real hard time locating should you choose to search!! I have been after this elusive variety in a problem free PCGS holder since summer of 2015. I probably have looked at a thousand or so examples both raw and slabbed. Although not dramatic, the doubling is very evident on the date and the two Indian feathers. The bottom of 927 of the date is nicely doubled along with the top of 27. PCGS has attributed 2 so far, with a lone XF40 as the top pop. This is an unattributed PCGS AU58 that will soon be attributed! Enjoy!

--- If it should happen I die and leave this world and you want to remember me. Please only remember my opening Sig Line.Sweet to score something so elusive after a long hunt.
Congratulations! Sweet example too.

A nice die state, too. There is an almost identical '27-D that's even harder to find.
Very nice.... I guess today I will pull out my Buffs just to be sure I did not miss one.... Cheers, RickO
Just a shadow. Not sure why the pic looks so bad!!
I once owned an anacs au50 (small white holder) 1927d doubled die obverse that was a dead ringer to this one.
both the p and d mint varieties are tough to spot in lower grades.
this is a great pickup!!
a.k.a "The BUFFINATOR"
Looks like the profile is doubled.
