Let's see those Columbus, Isabella, Huguenots, Pilgrim Tercentenary, American Indian and related pieces that we're all so thankful for!
We are like children who look at print and see a serpent in the last letter but one, and a sword in the last.

A couple of my favorites.
I like the low level toning at the bottom. Looks like a lower horizon sunrise/sunset.
Thanks, RickO! I know very little about this medal other than I like it very much and think it is awesome. It's a uniface medal that is about 2-1/2 inches across and 1/4 in deep and is marked "ROBBINS CO/ATTLEBORO/MASS" on the back. There are no artist's initial. I've seen three of these offered over the years with the first perhaps 12-15 years ago and the second around 5-6 years ago. The first was sold on ebay and I forgot to bid while the second had an engraved reverse with a name placed onto it and was offered both here on the BST and on ebay. I picked this one up at a Baltimore show while sitting at a table and talking with Dave Wnuck. He had just bought it so I bought it from him. It is a little rough with some wear and has obvious damage on the rim, but it was just so cool I had to buy it. When I brought it home I shot it as a Daguerrotype and this is the result.

TomB:
The medal itself is really cool and your Daguerrotype of it is, if possible, even cooler!!
@TomB.... That is amazing.... I have never seen another. I would really like to get one, so I will begin watching ebay and other sites....Thanks for the information. Cheers, RickO
Successful BST deals with mustangt and jesbroken. Now EVERYTHING is for sale.
That's a neat piece, icollecteverything. Jarred my memory. I knew I was forgetting something similar.

Is the item that the coins are lying on a native American textile ?
Yep. Navajo. Good eye!
--Severian the Lame
That's a beautiful piece ! I came across a interesting aboriginal textile from Taiwan awhile ago that I'm trying to get more information on. My icon photo is part of it. I've been researching the aboriginal people of Taiwan for awhile . Are you experienced with textiles ?
Nope, just something I picked up years ago that compliments an Arts & Crafts aesthetic.

As previously promised! Here is mine-

Thank you sir. I was looking to get some advice on finding a curator also, proper storage of a textile .
