Anyone interested in seeing NEW OGH product from CRO?

BochimanBochiman Posts: 25,437 ✭✭✭✭✭

Just came in the mail today and I am pretty happy with it.
From CRO's latest "Early Bird".....(I had missed out on some previous ones but was able to get this one).

John has some good coins that he gets in and, to me, this was one of them. Thank you, John!

This completes my 4 coin MASS copper set. Maybe upgrade 1, or 2, in the future, but they all look good and, although I have looked at different dealers when they have had them, and looked on ebay and other spots online, I ended up purchasing all 4 from CRO over the last 6 years or so.

Here are the pics from CRO for this little beauty :)

That's a great example with very clear "CENT" on the reverse.

I love the "look" on this one! Has a certain woodgrain appearance you dont normally see on Colonials. Coinraritiesonline sure has some great offerings.
    Congrats!

And, Tom, that is one of the things I have looked at as I assembled this 4pc set. I passed on many of them because they didn't have that clear lettering on the reverse.

Recently my ten year old daughter had a school project about states facts. Hers was on Mass, and she was telling me all about the woman on the flag. Woman I said? That's totally a man. Then we had a debate where she stated that's a skirt she's wearing and I referenced pictures of this coin type you posted. Upon searching together we found examples where it seemed the Indian looked to be either man or a woman but nothing factual that indicated which but only that it is an Algonquian Native American. Anyone? Now I see a woman cause of her...

Your coin is very nice, perfect color. Well known CRO knows this stuff. Neat to be able to own one of these, super cool

I am not a fan of of pre-1793 coinage, but I would make an exception with this one! Very nice indeed!
