Here's three examples, they look much better in person. I'm going to send them in for Tru-Views.
Do you think our host will put "BIE" on the slab for me?

You may have to submit as a variety.
Here is one auctioned off at Great Collections: greatcollections.com/Coin/211140/1955-S-Lincoln-Cent-BIE-Variety-PCGS-AU-55-BN
I've seen those before. Interesting variety.

That seems like a huge waste of money to ship, slab, image, and attribute. I'm not sure all three will even straight grade. They are cool errors though!
The Market for Toned coins makes it worth it, the BIE just adds a touch of difference to it. And the Tru-Views will make awesome poster.
JMHO
Good luck with that!
Good luck...never will understand the premium for tarnish.... but many people like it.... Cheers, RickO
The variety is worth far more than the color, as best I can tell from the pictures. I collect toned coins and have several monster Lincolns. I'm sorry to say those aren't going to bring much of a premium in a holder. If your hope is to sell them, I think you will take a loss. If you just want to enjoy them, by all means, spend your money as you wish.
Every time people say I won't make money on toned coins I laugh. Considering what I've sold over the last year, it may not be for you, but there are a lot of buyers out there. If I had these done which I will the Tru-view will look much better and I'm willing to bet I'll sell 1 and make more than my total investment on them all. JMHO, people like toned with Tru-View
There are a plethora of eager novices quite willing to spend their dollars on coins with questionable toning. Similarly, common toning often garners ridiculous premiums from the ill-informed.
