2.5 Grams 1982 Lincoln Coppercoins DDO-001

Good shape too, I'll get some full shots of the Obverse & Reverse up shortly .
I didn't crop or re-size them either .

    How come it only weighs 2.5 gms?
    Should be closer to 3-3.1.
    You checked your scale?

    Two different planchet were used for this year, one weighs 3.11 ( Zinc ) and the other one weighs 2.5 ( Copper )

    Here's a 1982 which is Wexler DDO-004 and is on a Zinc Planchet ( 3.11 )

    You have to be careful when looking for DDO(s) for this year .
    Coppercoins one & three are very close to each other .

    You have it reversed. Copper planchets weigh 3.10g, and the zinc ones 2.5g.

    You have it reversed. Copper planchets weigh 3.10g, and the zinc ones 2.5g.

    The Red Book can be quite confusing .

    Then mine must be DDO-003, Not DDO-001 .

    Sorry, stash,I misread your post. I thought you said it was on a copper planchet.
    I must have seen the "coppercoins" website, and thought it was a copper coin..?

    If you wouldn't have posted the question, I would of had the wrong DDO and still thinking the reverse on which planchet was which, so thanks for the question on that post, sir ....
