Anyone else noticing "new coins" posted on the USCF and BST simultaneously again?

Used to be, that was frowned upon. That people started to respect the division in pushing their coins.

Now, I've started to see people put a post in the USCF (either "guess the grade" or "grades just back" type of post) and then, either the same time, or maybe a day or so later, the SAME coin(s) are in a BST post.

Sure, it's a great way to get more eyeballs on them, but, I personally remember, and still believe in, when it was against the forum's protocol and was frowned upon.

sigh

I've noticed the same thing on occasion as well.

Sadly, at least imho, it is rude to those that are respectful to others and don't use the USCF at the same time to "showcase" their coins when they are for sale on the BST (or ebay).

I can understand getting coins back, being proud, showing them off.....and then maybe weeks later or something, making a decision to sell (something came up, want funds for a new coin or car or house, wife wants new shoes, whatever), but to do it practically simultaneously? :(

Not cool, imho. It leads me to think that person is not someone I really care to deal with moving forward.

is it really that bothersome? If I saw a gtg post and really liked the coin I'd be happy as hell to see it was for sale.

What's wrong with just putting it up on the BST? Do you not go there to look?

Is it then ok for anyone/all selling on the BST to thinly veil the sale and post them ALL In the USCF with a "GTG"? That's something that could easily happen?
Or, is it ok for just anyone to do it as long as it isn't everyone?

There's an integrity bit that I see, but I may be one of the few that see that......

    Acronyms work.
When you see GTG , simply post WGAF

I have noticed it.... and, indeed, it was frowned upon in the past.... I did refer one poster - looking for coins to buy - to the BST just earlier today.... Cheers, RickO
