Took out 2 of my Danscos to take some rough cameraphone pictures of some of my album quality peace toners.

Very Cool Set!
I'll bet that is a unique set that would take some time to study. It looks pretty cool.
In honor of the memory of Cpl. Michael E. Thompson
Not for me..Just my opinion but to each his own.

How many years did it take for those to tone #jerseycat?
Hoard the keys
Thanks for the comments!
@mrkbrown87 - I bought them toned already, none have toned in the Dansco noticeably as far as I can tell, and some have lived in there for a couple of years.
Fun looking sets.
U.S. Type Set
I like the toning on the 1922 & the 1935.
Cool set, including your 1964. What's the story with that one?
That's an interesting array of toning, some are really sharp.
Fun looking set. A couple look really nice. A couple look fried (ED). Most are just fun, interesting coins.
@Kccoin The 1964 is a 1oz silver round (marked COPY on reverse). I had to enlarge that particular port in the Dansco with a file for it to fit.
@BryceM Thanks. A couple definitely have ED, but that's fine for this particular set
Some of those are killer... And who knew Jesus likes peace dollars!
Interesting set. I think a few of those ladies would look good in a skinny dip of MS70
Fantasy set.
Wow... what happened to that black '22?? Cheers, RickO
Cool. I wonder how many would grade? I have an entire album of various toned Peace dollars, maybe 200 of them. Even though I know they are not AT, many would come back as such.
@hchcoin never!
@ricko that poor coin has seen much abuse unfortunately. It is actually an attractive dark blue, but the coin was polished.
@Wabbit2313 half of the coins were cracked out of problem-free pcgs and ngc holders. Only 4-5 of them (not all shown) would probably be negged by the tpgs. I would love to see all of (and possibly buy some of ) your 200 toned Peace Dollars? Do you have pictures anywhere?
@jerseycat101 ...Thanks for the reply...likely the 'color' is due to remaining residues.....sure looks black in the picture though... Cheers, RickO
Amazing! What a beautiful set!
Sometimes, it’s better to be LUCKY than good. 🍀 🍺👍

i'm going with the Peace Dollar does not tone consistently.
Do you choose a Dansco so the coins would tone further?
No, just a means of storage. I have some blast white peace dollars in another dansco that haven't toned at all. Probably fairly stable.
If you want them stable, I would put them in airtights and use a CAPS album and then buy some blast white coins for the Dansco to allow those coins to tone.
