Coin Show report.

Early this AM I headed to the TSNS Fall show in Chattanooga ( East Ridge ). I arrived a couple of hours after the show had opened. The bourse is usually sold out with a waiting list. This time the show conflicted with the Baltimore show and consequently about 20% of the tables were empty. The same thing happened with the Spring show when it conflicted with the Spring ANA show in Dallas. Someone needs to schedule better.
I was only looking for PCGS coins and national bank notes. I looked at an 1843 $1 in PCGS AU 58. The obverse was ok but the reverse had a couple of hard hits above the eagle. Also saw an 1883 CC $1 in PCGS 65+ with a semi prooflike look and a little color. It was not something that I needed ,so I stayed focused. I did not see any national bank notes that I needed.
I got to meet Yorkshireman and had a nice conversation with him. I also talked to the ANA District Representative.
After a coupe of hours ,I had not found anything and headed for home. It was a nice day looking for coins.

Thanks for the report. Yes, it's never good when a regional show conflicts with a national show.
All of the action seemed very subdued.
