my old list of 100 members contributed 2m+ posts. 10k minimum for the top 100. hasn't been updated in a couple years or so.
didnt get them all, so the 100 slot is probably 15k minimum now.
also have a list of the first members to sign up. most of them in the first 100 since version 2 if this is version 4.
if the pace was kept up, i estimate we'd have a few members with 250k posts easy today, perhaps more.
the person with the top slot, over 77k posts hasn't posted for years and will have the top slot for years to come! that is like 20 posts a day for 10 years straight or so !!!!
i need to search and see how far back the archives go now. if there are only 4m+ posts, we've lost a lot i estimate.

Here is an older "top 10" list that I grabbed from a previous thread from awhile ago.
if you are referencing Coinhead1, he passed away years ago.
Clw54 is still around, whenever he wants to be.
Xpipe hasn't posted, at least under that name, in years.
There are a few others that passed away or haven't been around since the OF was booted.
Note: I didn't look to see what the post counts for these folks are now, now that the new forum software doesn't count the posts to the OF since that data was dropped with the transition.
Yep... that is the old list and was certainly very much representative of OF posts....that was once the most active forum on CU....by far. I asked about it when this forum version was first launched and was told the software does not track this feature. Cheers, RickO

The count above only pertains to the discussion forum.
The B/S/T forum count is entirely separate.
Of course there are probably 5% cheat posts and duplicates (software glitch) included in the above.

For the record, these numbers took into consideration posts to the open forum as well as the testing forum (when you could post endlessly).
The open forum was the source of many posting records of many types. The Moon Landing Conspiracy got very long. There were also some very entertaining trolls there and in the US Coin forum too!
