found a 1940 jefferson recently. also some 50s.
snagged my first pocket change cud on a statehood.
a friend found a nicely clipped 66 dime and gave it to me which was cool.
i really need to recall to go to the bank and get some random rolls. never seem to think about it while in towne. ugh.
.
it's amazing what one can find in pocket change

I still check all my change and older Jeffersons seem to show up more than any other denomination... with Wheat cents running in second place.... and that '56 was new when I was a freshman in high school.... Cheers, RickO
true older nickels do show up more then any other coin in pocket change

bank rolls yielded some interesting results. aside from a sore back of my neck from louping for hours and days. quicker than a digiscope but with a higher cost.
$300+ total in 1c, 5c, 10c, 25c. no halves. no silver coins.
1 dateless buff. 1 1888 1c. dozen wheaties or so.
was after discoveries, major varieties, certain dates, errors, transitionals, wrong stock, etc.
no major varieties or errors.
found a few good potential discoveries. 1 is out to j.w. to see how he handles it. will dictate what i do with the others.
breaking open all the rolls was a real buzzkill. rather have bags of loose coins. will check into that next time.
