Hi everybody! Does anyone know where to buy Deller's Darkener?
Probably online somewhere, won't you get the same results by putting the coin in a sandwich bag with a pack of matches?
Google it, pops up in many places.
search returns no results maybe someone knows where exactly it is
Looks like it's getting hard to find.
Try this place: http://www.robertcgrayco.com/cleaning/dellers-darkener-1/4-oz-tube/
You can always take a little powdered sulfur, mix it with some vaseline, microwave, and make your own.
Thanks a lot! I took everything but not enough. Maybe there are other places?

@swe.....First, welcome aboard.... next - https://www.collectons.com/shop/item/2656/Deller-s-Darkener-for-Cleaned-Copper-Coins and there are others.... Cheers, RickO
You can usually get 10% sulfur ointment at a pharmacy. I think even Walmart carries it.
I could never get that stuff to work. Clean and shiny remained clean and shiny.
Brooklyn Gallery Coin and stamps used to carry all sorts of stuff like that. They might have it.
