Today I Found my First "Hot Lips"
![BustHalfBrian](https://us.v-cdn.net/6027503/uploads/userpics/577/n9HHXNQEVRF9R.jpg)
I've looked at tens of thousands of silver dollars and have found some cool VAM varieties along the way, and yet one of the most common "major" VAMs has always eluded me, the 1888-O Hot Lips. Today my search ended when a modest VF example (seen below) unexpectedly made its way into my hands.

Congrats! Nice pickup.
Very cool variety, thanks for sharing it
Popular Variety, Congratulations.
Nice EDS VAM 4! Pretty common in lower grades but AU & above watch out. If you go to the v4 page on VamWorld you can see the Leroy Van Allen example in 60dmpl. What a sight to behold!
Nice find...good looking Morgan... Cheers, RickO

Nice find! I love this particular doubled die-best of the Morgan d dies IMO.
Don't forget about her sister. The 1901p vam 3![ ](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/wink.png)
Nice job. I've been lucky with these through the years I've managed to buy buy 3 at common date prices
Very attractive coin and superb photo.
Nice choice VF. These really show some potential in XF or better, but anything above a Good is fun to find. The first '88-O VAM 4 I was able to cherrypick was a toned AU that was offered to me as a VF. Made $1500 at the time on a flip.![](http://www.popforum.net/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Neat variety......nice find!
I agree. Love when they look like this. Cool find.
Nice original look too. The "cleaners" didn't get their hands on this one.
Nice one.
And a pretty decent grade too (most examples are worn more than that).
nice pick up and congrats![:) :)](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
Not as nice as yours but this is the best one out of the three I cherry picked.

In looking closely at the images, I would consider submitting this one
