    1/50th?

I'd go in on a 5oz if gold would drop to under $1200

That 50 oz coin would be very impressive. :o

That 1/50 has got to be miniscule.

I'd be in for a silver one to go with my little gold 1/10 I got years ago.

Wow... a 50 ounce coin... impressive....certainly not practical, but impressive. Cheers, RickO

I doubt they will be too popular here in the US. Kruggerrands carry a stigma that carries over from when the US banned importation of these coins due to South Africa's apartheid policies.

it's the 50th anniversary of the kr
so 1/50 and 50 are on the table.
the story points out that there are 1/2 gram products on the market.
the 1/50th is just a bit more than that.
I suppose a loupe is required for ownership?

they are also making various special sets of various groups of these coins. I imagine some will have a high sticker.

I'm curious as to the premium on these. anything more than 10% over what the mint might charge for a similar coin and I'd probably pass.

I had a call from a customer wondering if we'll be ordering the silver ones. So far that has been the only interest, however the announcement is still quite new.

I would be interested it only in a roll, if they come in that form, but only if less than the premium of an eagle. I view this as more of the silver round in value.

I'd go in for a roll of the 50 oz., but only if AU drops at least $1, otherwise that's a bit too rich for me.
