Was there a thread on the story about a possible change in rules affecting Muslim ownership of gold?

I recall reading about this several months ago, but don't know if it was on these boards or through a news organization.

Although I am not an expert on islamic finance rules, when I have questions, I consult an Iranian friend of mine. He says the financial rules (credit, etc. as referenced in the article) are being revised and, strangely, more towards Western principles. Cheers, RickO
