NEWP for the gold type set and my favorite design

This is a purchase was a long time coming. I wanted to make sure it was a signature piece for the set.
A 67 CAC was out of my comfort zone ( last CAC 67 brought over 70 K) but a 66+ CAC fit the bill nicely. $10 Indians have the highest premium of gold pieces with sticker. Couldn't be happier.

Lovely piece.
Someone took good care handling that.
Yeah baby!
What a lovely coin!
Take it to Florida and do a reconsider. You never know!
Beautiful!
Not a series I'm familiar with at all but I'll put myself out there and say 66. Probably way off. If there was ever a perfect example for a series id vote for this one.
Oops looks like you Edited the post. Looks like I was close
I indeed did. Didn't mean to make it a GTG and you were close!

I am duly impressed. Beautiful coin!
Very nice. It's as clean as a nice MS67 Morgan dollar....yet it's made of gold. I like it.
Any time I look at a MS66 $10 Indian or Lib there's always a few marks I feel shouldn't be there at that grade. Nothing like that on your MS66+.
Very nice example. Love the surfaces and color!
Very nice Indian, Super color and surfaces.
Congratulations.

That coin is stunning. I presume you've seen it in hand (and maybe can even view it in hand right now). Given that, in your opinion what holds it back from being a 67? The little vertical scratches (or luster breaks? or picture artifacts?) in front of the eagle's right wing?
Hi Mark
I do indeed have the coin.
I think the slight frost break holds it back. The minimal marks are consistent with a 67.
The coin glows.
PCGS is tight on 67's and CAC is a beast on $10 Indians as well.
Thanks for the kind words

Love the design AND that coin - nice!
Very clean. I like it a lot. Way out of my price zone still.
You get a like from me bud . That thing is outta this world gorgeous. Very well done, again. Great pick up!
Nice coin; I like the look of it.
I have a plaster/papier mache of the reverse of this coin that Frank Gasparro made using the Saint Gaudens reverse plaster as the mold. It is quite cool and hanging in my library. It was purchased at the Saint Gaudens National Historic Site gift-shop in the mid-to-late 1990s. They only had a few and no one had purchased any up to that point. Interestingly, I brought my daughters up to the SGNHS this past weekend and got into a conversation with one of the Park Rangers and he had been at the site for 24-years. He recalled those Gasparro pieces and stated that the SGNHS had to pay a lot to obtain them and that virtually none of them sold. He did not know what happened to the remaining pieces.

Very nice find, Mark. I would be proud as hell for that Indian as that too is my favorite design.
My expansive budget allows bout 6 to 8 clicks lower than your beauty in grading standards!
That has always been a great design IMHO. Yours appears to be flawless. Congratulations.
Beautiful- I like this A LOT....
