Hi guys, I know this is an old thread. However, I’ve recently heard rumors Beckett has plans to cease grading star cards.

Is this true? Chinese whispers? Or fake news?

    Thanks mike

Fake news. Confirmed as such thru Jeromy Murray as of 10/11/2019

The Doc in Muncie was just one of many people to go thru for those sets Nathaniel. Get to know Patrick , or John, or a half dozen other Star guys to help complete your sets. FYI back in the 80's Rotmans gave these away $5 a set- somewhere in storage of I have an entire box full of different unopened Star sets with Jordans waiting to be looked at. Too busy emptying my other storage unit back home of unopened product first. Planning a trip back east for March 2020 I'll look then for you.

    Thanks for confirming.

Nice for you to have the vp of Beckett on speed dial. Makes rumors easy to squash

Ah, Rotmans. The good 'ol days. My hometown. Let me know if you need a hand. I'll work for a Jordan.

With being home bound ( like many) figured I would start to look into the Archives. I got 95% of autographs in person during the 80's. I could have retired by now if i focused strictly on signatures back in the day.
I was in SLC so i had access to everyone ! Home or road team including Maravich and Stockton who were impossible after a certain point in time. However it WAS the 80's so fun came first ! lol . Let
's look at the classic 85 Star Dunk set.
