    As of right now, I absolutely hate it.

    I guess I'll get use to it eventually, but you get so comfortable with the old forum, that change always disrupts things.

    When I go to type in who I want to sent a PM to, the name disappears so I can't send a PM.

    I'm having the same problem and I don't like the format either .. you can't just go to the last post. It starts at the beginning of the thread. I really don't like sites that make "improvements" that don't need fixed.

    I like the new board but I agree, the PM system isn't doing much for me.

    I delete the majority of my PM and now I have everyone of them ever sent and there is no way of deleting them.

    Another pet peeve. The Who's Online just shows icons and not names. What's with that? Why do computer programmers want to get rid of language and do everything with symbols. Are they trying to dumb down?

    Much better and note advanced than the old platform. My only issue is with PMs being out of chronological order.


    Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.

    A little help please. I'm posting a pic from my iPhone, I select the dog ear drop down icon, choose image, select an image from camera roll, hit done and the pic is downloaded into the long rectangular box just fine. I post the message but the image is retained in this small box. I see other pics by others work fine. What am I missing?

    Could be deleted posts over time or something got counted.

    Maybe the calculation took away the post counts from forums that no longer exist (like the OF). Well, I'm wearing a new icon for awhile until I find a decent picture of a stork.

    Any ideas on what size is optimized? My old one was all enlarged and blurry so I put on this one. I call it 'Detail from Armed Mama'.

    Okay, so how do we edit?

    I was going to add to my above post that I have figured out more about the pms.

    My count has gone from 77 to 317, and it looks like all conversations are being nested under the name of the other person AND they are sorting by most recent pm. I just had a pm and that bumped him up to the top of the list--and all the other (at least it looks like close to all) are showing up nested under there.

    I still don't see a way to sort alphabetically--I liked that feature for when looking to see who I've talked to and reminisce (like for those deceased).

    I just read in a liteside thread that archived/inaccessible forums were deleted. That means post counts dropped as those posts don't count.

    I'd have guessed I had only 8000 on the open forum so I'm looking for them.

    Nooooo...no new avatars. On that note, I'll try posting a picture too--which is the medal my new avatar is from. I just added it to Cointalk and Collectivecoin. I may even need to add it ATS too. It would be strange to have the same one everywhere, but kinda cool too. But I would miss your mushroom.

    See if this worked, it's a large file (almost 6 MB). If that is loaded, then it's a HUGE positive for the new forums!

    (And, maybe titles will come back. I have one picked out in advance of the 6000+ posts needed to hit 10K).

    edited to add:
    1. it worked
    2. the photo blows up with resolution preserved (some sites don't do this and PB reduces quality on upload)
    3. Shroom--did you change the title of the thread or did it get done for you?
    4. Look Ma! I figured out editing too
    5. Beginning to like this set up a bit!

    Why can't we see the name of the OP in the list of posts? I consider that to be very useful information; it's a standard feature on every other forum.

    Dimitri--I'm going to send you a pm (if my tablet cooperates). When you get it scroll back and I THINK all our pms are there.

    I still wish there was a way to navigate the pms by alphabet/name though. I have old ones I keep for sentimental reasons...

    Edited to add: actually a new PM started a new 'conversation'. My previous 'conversation' with Dimitri is (apparently) all PMs in the past. A new PM now generates a new conversation...old pms were brought over as a single conversation. Which makes lack of navigation through pms even more of a pain!

    Okay, now for an emoji trial. Between the forum and the tablet updates maybe those will work now...please ignore.
