It's been a while! Here's my additions over the past few months.

First is an upgrade for my Jim Palmer set. I actually had a PSA 10 of this card last year, but sold it when I found a PSA 9 that looked MUCH better than the 10. I've been looking for one this nice for a while. Someone above mentioned 4SC, and I'd agree with them that if you're patient and are willing to search through the volume.

Next is some serious progress on the Brooks Robinson set. These 5 cards bring the total to 12, which is 50% of the Basic set

1960 Leaf - I've never owned a 1960 Leaf card until now, and this one is a great shot of Brooks as a kid. Another 4SC find.

1969 Topps - Tough one to find centered. Good picture on this one.

1978 Topps - Last card in the Brooks basic set. Looks like an old man in this one.

1975 Topps - When this one came in the mail, it was immediately one of my favorites that I own. Colors are bright. Dead centered. Never been a huge fan of the '75 set, but now I see the appeal.

1965 Topps - The scan looks great, but it doesn't do justice to how focused the picture is on this card! Corners are 7,5-8 quality at best, but the centering and picture are a 10. The picture just jumps out of the case.

    DM23HOF,
Congrats on both the Jackson and 69 Mantle. That is the best centered 69 Mantle I have seen. That is one crazy tough card to find with good centering not to mention great centering.

Love that Aparicio RC. Just a pleasant image to look at. One of those quintessential "baseball cards."

I remember when I was a little kid, my grandfather was doing some plumbing and found a '56 Aparicio behind a sink-- where it had been likely since 1956. The card was warped as all hell but I thought it was the most amazing treasure ever unearthed. That was '86 and it felt to me like the card was ancient.

Odd to think that the equivalent today is us looking at 1986 Topps cards, which are so cool in their own right.

Could not resist this card below. As a hardcore Mantle collector, a 1969 centered like this is quite the chimera. I have seen one other specimen centered on par with this one in all my years of collecting.

Many thanks re: Mick, it's proving to be quite the distraction while trying to finish some work!

Seeing that 84D Jim Palmer reminded me of how insane his numbers were; what a phenomenal pitcher.

88 Donruss...what great memories. That Gregg Jefferies SP is an all time favorite baseball card.

Concepcion was one of my favorite players as a kid~as much for the annunciation of his last name as for his play, lol~though he was a terrific SS. Love the all star designations Topps used throughout the mid to late 70s. As an added quirk, this rack has top card in far section faced inward, too..

Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.

Congrats -- that used to be my Mantle, but glad to see it end up in good hands! As a centering nut, this 1965 was also very difficult: http://www.ebay.com/itm/142159531332

Here are my latest additions to the collection. The 62 Spahn is for my 1962 All Star subset. The BGS Griffey came as an extra with a 89 Upper Deck factory sealed set.
