I'm not thinking the Pats will have such an easy time with Atlanta, I mean Tomlin saw his defense getting shredded by Brady and refused to get out of the zone defense, Leveon Bell getting hurt didn't help matters on offense so I expect Atlanta will be a much tougher team to face. I'm glad the Pats are in it but am open minded about it, it won't be easy IF we can win. Either way we are there! GO PATS!!!
This was a November 5th prediction. If it were Reddit I wold buy you some gold : )

That and I bet Atlanta at 40-1 and I'm a NE fan. It's a win win but for sure I'm hedging.

NICE! The closest I ever came to a longshot that significant was 65-1 on Carolina in 2003. But they lost the Super Bowl, so no $.
Thanks!
I was stunned to see the Pats only open up at as a 3 point favorite. It made it tolerable to bet New England on the money line to hedge the Atlanta bet cheaply and lock in a nice winner no matter who wins. Before Sunday's action NE was a -7.5 favorite over Atlanta. The insurance premium would have sucked.

perhaps Tomlin got outcoached but the bigger reason for the loss was poor play by the Steelers. I thought Roethlisberger had a terrible game, his passes were off. the times when his throws were good the receivers didn't help him. also, how can you blame the coach for the injury to the running back??
for the Patriots, they deserve credit for being the better overall Team. they run the Walsh/Montana quick, short passing game almost to perfection and then were able to recognize the Steelers in zone defense and exploit it for some nice gains.
I see Atlanta as a really tough Team but they are just so young on defense. they remind me a little of the Seahawks when they won the SB.
Brady completes his mission. The commish winces. I smile.

I say the patriots are gonna win, but somehow I feel like I am wrong, the falcons just have too many weapons? I'm confused. My little boy (4 year old) thinks the Falcons will win.
Geez, I read what I just posted and realize if I had posted that on the Open Forum, someone would comment on my 48 inch waist taking the Pats and the toilet bowl loving the under. And that would have been the tame stuff....

Bradshaw was right. Tomlin needs to go.

I like the Pats organization and love it when the commish winces, but I'm pulling for the Falcons to win their first SB.

New England's defense is superior. Brady ain't bad for an old guy. NE by 7.
