Time to Start a CU Boards HOF??--

think about it--we have had some great members here. And Infamous members!! Maybe getting them elected to a CU Boards HOF will entice them to come back.
This idea would have to be thought out. We would have to have certain criteria established--for instance, can someone be nominated and elected based upon 1 thread they started, or continued membership, or providing valuable info to our community. Heck maybe even an Alt may be eligible who may have inspired some fun threads.
-so not everyone is elected at the same time. .. Maybe do it 2-3-4 times/year? Anyone else think this might be fun??
we sure could have some fun debating the merits of election that's for sure. Just think of the people that have come and gone in the past 10 years! Gary--Felicia--Muggyman----I mean there's a ton to have fun with
we can elect the good, the bad, and the ugly!!

I'm pretty sure CDsNuts, nam812 and Gary Daggett were all the same person.
I crack myself up sometimes
I'd put every one of these people in my personal CU HoF. Some of them are still here from time to time, but many have unfortunately departed. It's been my pleasure to meet a few of these gents personally, but also great to have met online and shared bandwidth with them over the years.

summerof68 - I don't think I ever knew his first name, but he was SUPER informative.
storm888 - knew his name at one point, but can't remember it right now. Very imformative. Knew how to work the Google like nobody's business.
Jim (jimq112) - a wonderful resource for helping people out with USPS problems. He's a no-brainer HoF nominee in my book.
Just remembered another fantastic and unfortunately departed member: Garret, aka Knuckles. His cut signature hockey cards were works of art.
Thread with some great examples of Garret's work

I nominate anyone with a Paul Newman avatar, as well let me 3rd CDsNuts and Itzagoner.
Lol thanks. Itzagoner was awesome, especially the one-liners during the real serious threads that escalated quickly.
CD'snuts was awesome too...to the point, pulled no punches, and wasn't afraid to tell it like it was.
Whomever played Maurice here was genius too...loved reading that guys posts. Informational and to the point as well...It's all a learning experience regardless of personality.
I think a mention of snuffy is warranted too...the photoshop master.

You're an easy HOFer yourself Gerbie. Summerof68 is Don, and you just spun me right round for leaving Lee off your list.

Remember when the board got together to help a deceased board member's family... only rumors of his demise were greatly exaggerated?

Who else would try to get a baseball card a meeting with the commisioner of baseball.
And one time when he ran a group sub he was very complimentary about the cards I sent, made
me feel good about my chances of getting high grades.

Shame on you all for not mentioning RonBurgundy. I won't mention him either.
I met Ron once. Went to his house to buy some of his leftovers. I liked him
Itzagoner is another good one.

It's a real travesty that he was banned.

mojorob - unfortunately, unless he was quoted, most of his photos are gone. The most visually stunning threads I have ever seen. They were like being in a time machine.

Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa........ That was 13 pages of boo hoo and then bam! Wow what a POS. This is why a Hall of Shame us needed. The Hall of fame is all well and good but not nearly as entertaining!
