Leave it to Arnie not to intrude on the golfing world when he passed. He waited 1-2 hours after the PGA Tour season ended today with the Tour Championship/FedEX cup. Uncanny. I always enjoyed watching the man battle with Nicklaus and the other titans in the mid-1960's and on. RIP King of Golf.
Taking up permanent residence at the 19th Hole. RIP

Great Obit. RR
King of Golf?................Yes!
It was clear watching interviews earlier this year that he was really failing.
Sorry to hear of his passing........
A mans man. Family first, golf second.

The mint struck a Congressional Gold Medal in his honor some years back. Bronze 3 inch and 1 5/16 inch duplicates might still be available.
Thanks for remembering this.......
Cheers, RickO
friend of mine collects 5 & 10k notes, and always stops at cash's table in Baltimore. he called me over to show me once (although he would never buy a damaged note like that)

The "Golf Channel" had a special on Arnie a year or so ago that really showed what a fine man Arnie was. He was greatly respected by many in all walks of life. His name will live as long as there is a game called golf.
