Coin Insurance Question

Can anyone offer an opinion on the Collectibles Insurance Services company in PA. I don't belong to the ANA so I can't get insurance through them. I found this company's ad in a past issue of NN. I believe they also use or used the name Collectibles Insurance Agency (CIA).

Can't help you with info on the one you ask about, but if it comes out to be more than the cost of the ANA membership and Hugh Woods' insurance, then I might recommend joining the ANA and getting insurance through that route.....

I've had insurance through them for years - they were the best price. Never had to make a claim, though.

The ANA only costs $20 a year.

I've never shopped for coin insurance since it is a specialty market and have always insured with Hugh Woods.

For 35c per $1,000 I'm covered either at home or in the safe deposit box - but not during transportation.

Like cars, coin insurance is a necessary evil.

I insure with Mr. Smith and Mr. Wesson..... with special policies for specifics with Mr. Alarm, Mr. Monitor and Mr. Secureconstruction. After initial investments, it is very reasonable.

hey RickO, there comes a time when you might get surprised by Mr. Visitor-at-the-Door and his friends, Mr. Whacked-over-the-Head and Mr. Handcuffs. when they visit you, Mr. Alarm, Mr. Monitor and Mr. Secureconstruction won't be able to help.
