Tell him you changed your mind and just request a cancellation of the purchase through eBay.

it is annoying when buyers do that kind of thing but a simple cancel trans fixes the situation quick and painlessly. only happened a few times over the years and trying to force a customer into a purchase costs far more than it gains, perhaps even at the 7 figure coin level; especially if in it for the long haul.

the longer one is in a niche, the smaller the world gets imo.

i'd say get away from the seller as quick and easy as possible. unless it is something to die for.

complete the contract you made. Pay for the item you agreed to buy.

    look first make bids latter.

Return the coin if you want but do not be another deadbeat buyer.

I would pay for the item and then decide if my lack of due diligence is a reason for a return.

The seller should at minimum be willing to respond to your information request. The non-payment claim on your part is a black eye on your record if you don't pay up. I'd pay then ship it back with an " I told you so" note if in hand the item is unacceptable.

Just ship it back with tracking.

If someone is going to return a coin to me anyway, I would cancel the sale. It is dumb to go through shipping and returning. Did you request a cancel as recommended above?

Lack of communication constitutes a breach , in my book. Although, the seller could avoid a great big hassle just agreeing to cancel the transaction, your approach seems fair enough. Although, we (all) should be more attentive to what we are bidding on, as well.

If he won't even respond to your inquiries, the return would likely be a headache, as well. I would request a cancellation of the transaction. His silence is indicative of what he already knows~that is, that the coin has a problem not disclosed in the description. If he ignores your request, I would just take the NPB and use this as a learning experience.

I'd quit using my phone to make purchases that my desktop told me I shouldn't have made.
