im not a fan of the auto return process but in this case, with no response; i'd pay, receive, assess in-hand, probably return but using the official process where you add the return tracking #.
i have returned thousands of emails, texts, messages etc and if you've sent a couple/few, then they had their chance to do it the easy way.
it is annoying when buyers do that kind of thing but a simple cancel trans fixes the situation quick and painlessly. only happened a few times over the years and trying to force a customer into a purchase costs far more than it gains, perhaps even at the 7 figure coin level; especially if in it for the long haul.
the longer one is in a niche, the smaller the world gets imo.
i'd say get away from the seller as quick and easy as possible. unless it is something to die for.

look first make bids latter.
Return the coin if you want but do not be another deadbeat buyer.
I would pay for the item and then decide if my lack of due diligence is a reason for a return.
Just ship it back with tracking.
