The simple fact is these forums will always be here. So if most people now become lurkers by their own choice or because they were banned is not a big deal. I've checked out the new site and even being very brand new, it has a ton of potential. I've played with it, posted on there and it has it's drawbacks as well, but it's new and just getting started. And I for one prefer the open dialog that it promises without the threat of making the overlords mad. Humans by nature are very petty and sensitive. I grew up in a small town and was taught respect, honesty and hard work. But you called it as you saw it. No sugar coating it as that doesn't help anyone. I respect PCGS and PMG but calling something as it is should be everyone's right. I'm not looking at it as a mass exodus to another site and that gives CU a win.... I see it as an exodus to a site that is strictly about discussing paper money. I look forward to the day that it becomes the preferred site for info on paper money related education and informative discussions. It will take alot of time and effort to get there and it must have input from as many people as possible. Because without democracy, there is only chaos.
Abandoning the boards doesn't serve anyone. This is by far the best community of currency collectors and dealers. Its a place to lurk and learn ,buy, sell and ask questions. Most times you will get an answer from some of the most knowledgeable people in the field. There has always been some drama about one thing or another and people have come and gone. I don't post much in here but I do check in and see whats new learning something useful each time I do. Occasionally I buy something and also sell some items. But I always spend a little time here. If anyone thinks its a good idea to leave to make a point your going to be solely disappointed. As you will only accomplish to hurt yourself and PCGS currency. Over the years i've seen people come and go , some are missed but most are just forgotten. As most will be as new people come and new topics shared. Its been so much worse than this over the years . Just my 2 cents .

I'll be here for the long haul, but also don't mind posting wherever there's action on this and other boards. I would imagine PCGS Currency will be back in the driver's seat on this currency forum in the near future.
