Can anyone help me determine if this is a RPM

This is not a proof. The only doubling is on the mint mark. I have been fooled by machine doubling before but figured you experts could help me out image

Looking at that I see machine doubling. No serif that I can see but then we'll let the

forum chime in, I'm just first.

I agree that the MM has "that look"....

However, there doesn't seem to be an evidence of machine doubling on the date(?) directly above it? Seems it would be difficult for movement of the die to cause such a large movement of the MM, yet nothing to closely located elements.

So, put me on the fence.

This kind of machine doubling is very common on 1968-S cents.

Sorry but it's not a RPM.

If it is a 68-s, there is an rpm 1 for that date which is s/s north that would match. No s/s north for the 69-s.

The MM on OP's coin appears closer to the date than on RPM#1.

    It's a 1968-s

    Thanks for all the feedback

It does look like machine doubling.... although the 'mark' in the lower section of the S does have me wondering a bit....?? Cheers, RickO
