How do I value my set.

The thought has crossed my mind that I may someday want too sell my Early Commemorative 50 piece type set that can be found in the link below. Most if not all of the coins are excellent for the grade and were hand picked by myself. Most if not all have excellent eye appeal and colorful toning. Obviously there is not good price guide for the more eye appealing/attractively toned pieces and this is not your every day white set of coins. It took me about 8 years to acquire all the coins.
My Registry set is ranked 30th and has an average grade of close to MS65.
I think most of my coins will be at least grey sheet or higher.
Any ideas on how to value it or even sell it for that matter?

If you sell it piecemeal, you could possibly do better.

Doesn't that make you a dealer?
So are you saying you won't give squat!!
Yep so as you can see not all dealers are the same.
I agree that you should try to sell them here if you ever come to that because I'd want a shot at them! They are like Tony the Tiger say's "They're Great!
I see the vast majority at retail+. And a few at big money.
As was mentioned already, try the BST first where you'll keep the most money.
Or advertise on various platforms to sell as a complete collection at an added premium.
Great set!
That would be a hard set to sell. To even let it go, that is.
As far as pricing, I think people have already hit that.
Sell it all at once and take a big hit. Most of us who have done that, including myself, regret that later.
Best way to sell might be to auction at a site like Great Collections where people appreciate what you have.
Just another thought.
The set is worth whatever they add up to. I would take the higher of CW Trends or TPG price for starters and that Column would add up to MV. Then I would tack on a premium for a complete set. I don't give a hoot about grey sheet. I sell at retail only.
Otherwise just use cost plus.
I would start listing them individually in my eBay store plus doing shows. You have a super base for a beginning inventory. You can buy more pieces of your favorite type and upgrade.
As cheap as an eBay store is I would go that route. You have more options and are in control. I can manage mine with my I phone. Coin facts is an amazing tool and should help you w pricing decisions.
they do.

Lots of collectors and dealers are willing to cherrypick your set for the color coins and the top pops, but that will leave you with coins that could be replaced from any auction, and those will be hard to move anywhere near retail.
In this very soft market, and because you don't have coins that will appeal to the registry crowd, I would try to hang onto the intact set.
By the way, been there and tried all this.
Commems and Early Type
Like stone mountain and Norse all?
Eagleguy, did you say allllll, your collection?
Like stone mountain and Norse all?
Stone Mountain and all others in 144 set, yes. Norse, no.

The auction houses you will get hit with the juice both ways. If all of your coins are PCGS / NGC just use their respective inventory managers and they will be valued for you.
He will have to plug in his own values. Coins with high eye appeal are not properly valued in the system. On commems sometimes multiples of book difference. If he sold his collection in tact in a major auction he won't pay a penny on juice. I would expect him to get 103% on a whole collection.

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
I'd like to purchase a few.
I like the sound of this.
