Did not think so but wanted to check before I sell for a friend that is getting out of collecting stuff.

Looks XF to me. If it has luster and it's not got hairlines or scratches, it's a couple hundred dollar coin. I'd have to see it to ascertain it's worth. Looks like a good album filler. Without an expert seeing it , it's on the cusp. (my humble opinion). I'm on the fence, thanks to your photos. image

Looks more like high vf to me but the plastic window can be hiding a touch more detail. The rule of thumb is no less than $150 value to require slabbing and this is on the cusp. If you want it slabbed go for it. It should straight grade from these pics but it would also make a good hole filler if you intend on selling it and will tend to sell for same money slabbed or not
    The more you VAM..

It might sell better slabbed, but really not worth the effort IMO....Cheers, RickO
  • I'd send it in. It's a $200-225 coin.
    I love the 3 P's: PB&J, PBR and PCGS.

How many would you like to buy at that price?

I like it as an album coin for a Morgan set for those that do it the old fashioned way... Like me. There is something charming about a Morgan set in the old Library of Coins albums.

Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.

I already have one. I don't need another.
