I love the simplicity of Italian designed talers ,compared to the over-designed Austrian and German talers that don't have a single mm of empty field left, not to mention that the much more often encountered Hog Mouth family (talers) should have NEVER been engraved on coins, it's really the ugliest faces in coin history and they make my 6 year old daughter cry at night.



The Eritrea talero can be an addition to any collection because of its African country of issue, even if said collection does not contain a second taler, and/or regardless of its provenance if it does.Therefore bid high, bid often!
