Anyone else have their US mint order cancelled - Standing Liberty

They just cancelled one of my two orders even tho I made two separate orders going to two separate shipping address. I called and said they will refund the money. So why do they let them go though and charge my bank card just to cancel it. This really ticks me off! Everyone be expecting this if you placed more than one order.

A: The year they spend more on their library than their coin collection.
A numismatist is judged more on the content of their library than the content of their cabinet.
You gave them a reason to cancel it.... thats how the program works. .... sorry to hear that though
Edited to add
I hear you can use the same shipping address but not billing
I'm not buying one so you can buy mine.

One of my orders was cancelled.
how did you have your CC's , billing and shipping address set up?
If any of the above match up then you have a potential problem.

So you broke the rules, got caught and the 2nd order was cancelled? Sounds right to me.
CHEATED, BUSTED, CANCELLED. Sounds right to me as well.

Love when someone attempts to cheat the system (thus really cheating other collectors attempting to also purchase legitimately) and then when they're caught, cry foul and raise a ruckus claiming victimhood.

I agree with these members above. When people post how they cheat the household limits it seems greedy on their part. Adding insult to injury bragging about it. "Hey, I just cheated on my taxes and got away with it. HAHAHA suckers."
Having friends and relatives buy extras over and above what the would get for their own collection when the HH Limit is more than one seems a little more acceptable. Those who solicit and purchase those extras at a premium are the least objectionable.
Maybe it's human nature to try to beat the system and then to brag about it. It just doesn't seem right or moral to me.
None of this would be going on if they simply decided to make coins and sell them for a defined length of time.
What's the point of making 100,000 coins instead of minting to demand for 4 or 5 months? They might not even sell the 100,000.
At 46% over spot, the Mint isn't doing anybody any favors.
I knew it would happen.

Reminds me of a time that I sold a beautifully toned walking liberty on Ebay and the "buyer" claimed no receipt despite tracked delivery only to post the coin 6 weeks later on this forum

You should have used two different cards since they do check the credit card billing address.
Get a postal box at one of these private mail stores. Then open a checking account using that address as your business address. This is what I do and I have absolutely no guilt.
If I felt like I could successfully juggle 3 or 4 more accounts this way, I'd do it. But as it sits, ordering day is hectic enough.
I'd have asked my brother to help but I didn't think that the return was going to be that significant.
I wish I'd have used my other account when the Silver Medals came out as the two that I did get paid off.

I don't view it as "cheating" as much as I view it as "working the system".
Those who believe that only "collectors" order from the US Mint are fooling themselves since lots and lots of coin businesses buy regularly from the US Mint and they simply do not turn their noses up at the relatively easy money.
It's a business.

Don't worry, in a month you'll be able to buy as many as you want once the HHL is lifted...
I think people should be able to order how many they want as long as they stick to the HH limit! Each address is 1 HH. I have won some and I have lost some. No one is stopping anyone from doing it. You just have to put the work in....

If you're going to cheat the system, you have to follow the rules for cheating it.
