Help with a Roosevelt dime

This 1947 P Roosevelt was found in a small 90% bag I purchased this weekend at a local coin show. I apologize for the pictures in advance, I used my iPhone and a loupe to get these closeups.
The coin features a crack visible from both sides of the coin that is particularly evident on the reverse. There is no reeding on the coin. The devices and lettering are muddled and flat on both sides.
Is this a planchet flaw plus PMD? A novelty for the "that's cool" box?
