    That's a bummer.

I can tell you that I got confirmation that the Cheyenne WY coin show is "for sure" next weekend on September 10-11. About 42 miles from Fort Collins, short distance off the I-25 and I-80 freeways.

Show promoters, in general, need to do a better job at putting information out there.

I agree that some do need to step it up.

There's a biannual show about a half hour away.

I never know when or where until Coinzip posts one of his who's going threads.

The "Aurora" show is now in Denver at the Quality Inn right off of I-25 and I-70. It is a first time show at this venue and is a smaller show than I expected. Although I was a bit disappointed, it is always good to see some of the long time dealers as I still made some good deals on some coins.

It was a small show with just a handful of dealers. Some packed up shop early by the time I arrived at 1pm. While I enjoyed having lots of counter space to peruse dealers' stock, the dealers were disappointed by the lack of foot traffic. The parking lot was nearly full due to at least half being taken up by tents for some future event.

It's a new show and venue, as Night Hawk said.

Not much to report as there wasn't the typical "buzz" of the regular local shows. It faced a lot of local competition over Labor Day weekend, with a football game last night (CU vs CSU) and the local Taste of Colorado fest sucking up so much bandwidth, not to mention the number of folks who head west into the mountains for a last hike/camp trip before the serious cold weather sets in this month.
GSAs, OBW rolls, Seated, Walkers. Anything old and Colorado-focused, CO nationals.

Gonna get me a $50 Octagonal someday. Some. Day.

That seems like a very high admission for not a large show.image
