Any good Memory Lane wins last night? Or unexpected results?

Did anybody win anything interesting, or that you are excited about?

i won four 1956 PSA 8s I needed for my set - Giles, Campy, Rizzuto and Podres. Felt like I got nice prices across that group.

Was runner up on the PSA 5 Clemente RC - already have one but this one was just a bit better than mine. Would have been happy at my bid but wanted to make someone earn it if they went over the top. I think it went at a fair number, which was ok with me.

Was also runner up on the Ali/Frazier poster, I felt for a piece that size it should be $1000 after the juice.

Finally was runner up on the 48 Leaf Musial 4. That's a card I'm after, color was good on it but registration is a little off. Again, if I'd won at my bid I'd have been happy but I'm not disappointed someone went over the top of me.

  • Congrats on the 1956 cards. Those PSA 8s are high end examples IMO.

Any plans to send them in for review?

Congrats on winning the 1956 PSA 8s. I was bidding on some of the 1956 cards also. One that I wanted was the Ernie Banks PSA 8.5. Toward the end on the auction I started looking more closely at the card and saw want I think/thought was a defect on the back. Right below the word TEXAS, going through the H it looks like an indentation. I couldn't tell if it is a shadow from a scratch on the case or if it is a defect that somehow was missed by PSA. I stopped bidding.

Like you don't have enough of those already image. Need to post some photos of the new haul - stuff you had in AC was extremely nice.
