Otherwise, I like the frayed edges of OPC....but the centering is what would get me. Im withholding my half of million dollars for the next one to come up. And what if another gets graded? That'd be a grrrr.

I don't know. I think it's a great looking card.
Me too. That centering is close enough to perfect that I'd be satisfied with it in a 10.
Close enough should be saved for a 9.
10 was a gift on this card.....
I thought a 10 WAS perfect???

In 25 years I've never seen a true perfect 10 from PSA, a 100 from SGC or a pristine from BGS/BVG. Technically they don't exist, a flaw can be found somewhere on even the "perfect" cards. Grading should max at Mint Condition IMO. It's how much of a flaw, even minute, that a collector is willing to put up with when it comes to buying and selling "perfect 10's". If I had the money, the centering on the Gretzky wouldn't stop me from buying it
I agree.....perfection is not possible (well, Jeanie as in ' I dream of ' may be an exception...yes, I'm OLD!)

Why did they rough-cut the sides of the OPC cards but not the top?
It's a well known fact that OPC used dull wires to cut vertically and sharp blades to cut horizontally
