In honor of the Mercury, STL, and Walker Gold Commemoratives - D Carr

I am posting this on the sites I frequent, hopefully some will get some enjoyment out of it as I have...
************************************
Well I got them in, it was a late night purchase but I wanted them. I have been pleased with his work and please let this not be a discussion about legalities. I can tell you what he sure does a good job with his work. My pictures are not the best but I spent an hour getting them. At least the quality can be seen well enough.
First up is the Mercury Dime,

Now compare the detail with the Gold Mint Offering.....notice the bands..or lack thereof..

Next is one of my favorite designs, I paid a pretty penny to get one in AU and this one is spectacular, you can see how this is one of the best designs yet worse designs for wear which makes good ones so hard to come by. Anyway, this was my most wanted of the three..

Wow- I sure hope my pictures so it justice.
Next, another favorite of mine but not the Obverse , the reverse of the Walking Liberty. I have one of these as well as a Mercury in BU, but I had to get the set to match the Gold Anniversary.

My guess is the quality of this one was the least of the three but all were very good. This one has a cartwheel on the Obverse but it is not that big of a deal. These are just amazing pieces of Art.
I also picked up something that even those who are not fans can appreciate, a dollar design that I just liked,
2019D D. Carr Apollo Dollar

As an added bonus, as I like Kennedy's, I got this one off the Bay a while back,
1963-D Kennedy Fantasy Strike

I hope you enjoyed these, I know some don't like them but I do and I like his work. They hold their value and they are one of the neat ones to show folks. As a Kennedy guy, that 63 is one of my favorite pieces.
He does great work.
So this year I get to hopefully get the STL Gold the Walker will probably go to the wayside for lack of funds.
Anyhow, last I checked there are still some of these left at his website. I chose the 1915 year as it was closest to the 'debut' year.

For the 1963-D Kennedy Half, is the "D" for "Dallas"?
I am not sure if that was funny or not....

Very nice there. Surprisingly, I really liked the Walker and especially the obverse as the field gave it a medallic effect. Full nipple on the quarter good as well!
Darn I just had to go back and check out the strike on the quarter!
And his "1915" Merc looks so much crisper than the Mint's 2016 gold version.

Not.
