    Nothing wrong with owning an 1873-cc Arr. quarter. It ranks in the top five key dates to the set, excluding die varieties. It's tougher to acquire than 1872-cc, but not as tough to locate as 1870-cc or 1871-cc. Your coin is not too bad as far as surfaces and damage go; this date is often found dark and corroded. Congrats!

    It's a little toning streak, I think. A little blemish like that is a non-issue on any 1870-cc to 1873-cc quarter. They're so rare that you just can't worry about small stuff when looking to buy. Maybe 5-10% of them would get CAC beans at best.
