I think I got a solid deal on this. I will withhold what I paid until I get a few comments on estimated grade as I don't want the price to influence estimates.

Not quite AU, in my opinion. I think XF+.

Also it looks like it was cleaned awhile ago but has retoned nicely.

I feel a solid AU50 details grade. I agree it looks previously cleaned, so no actual grade.

95-O are notorious for weak strikes. Without seeing it in hand, I'll guess 55.

I had one a bit stronger than this coin I thought was lock 50+. PCGS graded it 45 twice.

I say 45.

I like it as an XF45 but I wouldn't blink of it were in an AU50 holder.

As said perhaps an older cleaning which has no effect on grading,

I tend to think the coin will Genuine and not straight grade :

The neck area has a old long scratch above the lower marks on the neck.

I'm not "feeling" the EF grades, this is an 1895-O after all. I'll go 53 and acceptable old cleaning.

It might just be the scan, but after I posted my grade guess, I looked more closely at the coin.

Something about the digits in the date look "off" to me.

Hope I'm wrong and it's just a funky scanner artifact.
