Blue Boxes Still Exist

I got my submission back in the mail today. my 8 PCGS coins were in a blue box. Perhaps the rumor that they were discontinuing the blue box is false??? Or they just have a massive amount of blue boxes on hand???

Figure their just getting ahead of the game letting people know their not ordering them anymore and when current supplies are used up they will go to the cardboard.

I've never seen any sort of official announcement by PCGS that they're abandoning the blue boxes. Just what people have said on here. I'd like to see a link to the source.

Collectors Club submission? If so maybe they are just giving them away with that.

I'm letting my boxes develop a nice patina before I have them slabbed ;-)
