I have always said it would be cool to do a digital album were people would enter their change finds - to remind many of us on how we got started in the hobby.

I completed a set of Jefferson's from circulation save for the 50D over a long period of time.
Circulation finds are a lot of fun.

    Nice!

I found a 1941 D LWC in my change last week, glad it was obverse up when I emptied my pockets, it looks like it was minted yesterday. (I would have assumed it to be a nice LMC)

Had one little spot of goop on it, so it's going into the acetone jar, will post pics when I can.

This would be a great thread to continue, 'change finds.'

Surprisingly, I find two or three wheat cents in change each month.... nothing of significant value, but I always keep them. Cheers, RickO

My wife actually finds most of the good stuff. First year of issue! I haven't seen one this worn before.

I`m always scanning the streets for money. I usually find about 10 - 25 cents a day and most coins are heavily scratched since they have been laying in the street with heavy traffic. The most cash I ever found was $210.00 laying in the street by the curb. The rarest coin was a 1945 mercury dime I found in a water fountain, lol.

About 5 years ago at a pizza shop I received a 1954D Franklin half dollar in change. That was cool and a trip back in time to my days as a YN in the 1960's when silver circulated and you could get silver dimes, quarters, half dollars and dollars in change.

Yes! Esp. If one of the coins has that famous "Memorial" building on the reverse (The Lincoln Cent)! I always check the coin with my loupe for any error/variety. image
