I don't have the coin with me, as it is out being imaged. It may have been dropped at some point, but from what I can remember it never even attracted my eye, so it was certainly something minimal.
Nice coins, but seems like some collectors don't like the purple - darker colors on coins of this and other dates from the 1950's. I remember buying two original 1955 mint sets that featured typical blue - purple toning on most of the coins with tinges of orange. It was a solid, original but not spectacular group. Not knowing any better, I sent the coins into PCGS even though the darker colors muted the underlying luster of the coins, which generally graded MS65 - MS 66 but were very hard to sell. I do appreciate your coins and wish you well with them whether they go into your collection or otherwise.
