Free Money From Legend

I clicked on the FREE MONEY link from Legend's "Free Money" email because I like free money.

It took me to page showing the Northern Lights Collection of Tone Morgans they have coming up for sale.

I don't know how the free money comes into play there, but they are definitely worth looking at.

I think they are offering no fee advances for new consignments which is what the free money is about?

Here is a tease

An 81-S Toner in 68+??? This is going to get expensive. Who had their collection first, the "Nothern Lights" or "Aurora Borealis"?

My understanding that the free money refers to cash advances on consignments with no interest so long as certain conditions are met (i.e. Coin value of $5000 or more, total consignment of $25,000 or more , etc)

No juice. They look like that. If I was to question anything, it would how they got in slabs to begin with, but not the images. I have Morgans that look like this, although not MS68, and there is no chance they will ever see a plastic window to smile through. Really cool coins here!

I've seen that 80-S MS-68+ in person, the coin really looks like that, like a glowing ember *in the right lighting*. I'd take that coin in a heartbeat, but the price tag is out of my league.

Makes me remember the time I saw the Sunnywood collection all on display at long beach several years back. Were I not seeing them with my own eyes it would have been difficult to believe. I had always assumed coins never ACTUALLY looked like that in person but I was very very wrong.

The OP one has brightness and contrast and vibrance and color saturation cranked up so it looks much brighter...like a pea***** image

RickO purports to know how to do it with liver of sulfur which is potassium sulfide in admixture with other sulfurish compounds. Never seen one pic of evidence tho. One can buy the stuff on eBay along with sodium sulfide and other interesting chemicals.

Are those from our member auroraborealis ?

    I've seen the 1878 8TF elsewhere.

    It ain't juiced. image

The most impressive VAM 14.2 I've ever seen.

It makes my toned PCGS 65 look plain jane.

My avatar pic looks a lot like the coin in hand, pretty darn good for a Teletrade scan.

Is there a link anywhere to the Sonnier collection of toned Morgans? At least the ones that have appeared for sale.

No. Different collection. I reached out to Wayne the minute I saw the email just to make sure.
