My PCGS membership got renewed without my permission.

Has anyone else had this happen lately? I know that they have an auto renew system that you have to cancel and I did that shortly after the last time I renewed my membership. But when I got home from work today I found my new membership packet in the mail box. I used to sign up every few years at the silver level when I had coins to submit and it shows that my membership expired in 2012 or 2013. Well some how my membership got renewed at the PLATINUM level and my CC was charged $249.99
I guess I will be calling PCGS on Monday to try to cancel this order.

I'd think that a call might be all that's required. It sounds like you got auto renewed but if you don't want to make that purchase but something else Customer Service should be able to comply if you move quickly.



Obviously the Membership Packet is the same except for the voucher value. I'd think they can rescind that easy enough.

But if you renewed at the $249.99 Platinum level, don't you get a PCGS polo shirt with the membership? They'll probably want you to return that also.

There wasn't a shirt with the submission packet.

Simply a systemic error... a phone call to customer service will easily rectify the situation. Cheers, RickO

And, if you weren't a new subscriber member, there wouldn't be.

I asked before and it is only for new members with the subscription.

I get new CC's so frequently (old ones compromised), they couldn't renew me if they wanted to!

I just got off the phone with a very friendly and courteous lady from PCGS customer service and she said it was not a problem to refund my credit card and cancel my membership. I want to Thank PCGS for the no hassle refund.
